Support

Tend is made by one household, not a support department. That means replies come from a person — and that they are not instant.

Get in touch

This goes straight to where the work happens — no inbox, no ticket queue. Leave an address only if you want a reply; without one the message is completely anonymous.

Please don't paste a gratitude entry in here — it is private, and we don't need it to fix anything.

Common questions

Where are my entries stored?

On your phone, and nowhere else. There is no account and no sync, which also means an uninstall takes your entries with it. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

How do I delete everything?

Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete all data. It is immediate and cannot be undone — there is no copy anywhere else to restore from.

Does anyone read what I write?

Nobody reads your entries. They are stored on your phone and there is no server copy for us to open. But writing needs a language model, and that does not run on a phone. So when Tend writes a gratitude, a theme, a shift or a reflection, it sends what that one needs, including your own words. It comes back, and nothing is kept along the way. The privacy policy lists exactly what each feature sends.

How do I turn off analytics?

Settings → Data & Privacy, and switch off "Help improve Tend". The switch takes effect immediately.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops the renewal and keeps your access until the period ends.

Something in the app felt wrong or unkind

Please tell us. The prompts are generated rather than written by hand, and a response that lands badly is a bug we want to know about — that feedback is the main way the writing gets better.

If you need more than an app

Tend is a journalling tool, not mental health care, and it is not built for a crisis. If you are struggling, please contact a local emergency number or a crisis line where you are.
